Responsibilities include

  • Data entry – processing order details on our IT software
  • Process enquiries and quotes over the telephone
  • Processing a high volume of orders
  • Creating long-term trading relationships with customers to increase sales.
  • Follow up calls to customers with outstanding quotes and orders.
  • Keep reporting systems up to date.
  • Talking to customers, progressing orders to a strict schedule.

Essential skills

  • Computer literate (full training will be provided of the bespoke system).
  • Ability to liaise with team members
  • Numeracy & literacy is essential
  • Possess excellent telephone manner
  • Attention to detail in a fast pace environment is essential.
  • Must be a flexible, reliable team player, able to demonstrate good communication skills and problem solving abilities.

 Sales Manager – Office Based

Victorian Sliders are Europe’s largest manufacture of PVC-u vertical sliding sash windows. A rapidly growing privately owned business is looking to recruit an exceptional Customer Focused Sales Manager.

The role is to organise and co-ordinate the day to day running of the sales office, to recruit, manage, motivate and develop staff to drive the business forward. Candidates will need to be passionate and organised with the aspiration to grow with our business to deliver excellent customer service and internal sales management. An excellent communicator with the ability to improve the current sales system is essential, as well as taking charge and leading from the front.

This job is not for the faint hearted, we are looking for a strong minded leader who can take charge of a busy, fast paced office, ensuring targets are exceeded daily.

They will liaise with the external regional sales managers and ensure best practice customer satisfaction.

Job role will include:

  • Ensuring targets are achieved and performance is exceeded daily.
  • Managing the internal sales representative team.
  • Report on sales metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Manage inbound sales calls from our National Customers base.
  • Other responsibilities for the team include: following quotes and orders for customers to completion, investigations into queries and assisting other departments within the business.

Candidates will need to be:

  • Highly organised, and able to manage time efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience of managing and leading a team.
  • Strong Microsoft skills, especially excel.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Sales target driven and able to work with KPI’s.
