To all our valued customers

Following the Government’s announcement that all non essential companies should go into enforced lockdown, we at Victorian Sliders have taken the difficult decision that we will be shutting down our manufacturing plant on Tuesday 24^th March 2020 until further notice.

We have not taken this decision lightly however, I believe that it is in the best interest of our staff, our suppliers and our customers, as a responsible member of the UK manufacturing community. We believe that this is in-line with Government advice which, whilst ambiguous at best, clearly states that our staff should not be traveling to work unless classed as a Key Worker as specified in the Key Worker Guidance issued by the government, which I don’t believe we are.

For clarity, we will not be taking orders from today. The last manufacturing day is today, our last delivery day will be Friday 27^th March for those customers who have existing orders with us. We will be contacting those customers who are due deliveries to ensure that they still require a delivery, if customers do not require the windows they will be kept at the depots until such a time when the government announces it is safe to deliver these products.  We will not be able to open the depots for collection after Friday, until we are advised it is safe to do so. We know that this may add to the distress of our customers but it is essential that we all now pull together to minimise the impact on all of our businesses so that when this crisis passes, which it will, we will all be in a position to continue trading and our industry will thrive Coronavirus free.
