Victorian Sliders® Launches New ECOSlide® Timber-Look Joints
Victorian Sliders® is pleased to announce the launch of ECOSlide® Timber-Look Joints. Developed in direct response to customer feedback, Timber-Look Joints have been designed to recreate the authentic detailing traditionally associated with timber sash windows, while retaining all the benefits of modern PVC-U construction.
Unlike conventional PVC-U sash windows, which feature 45° welded joints, Timber-Look Joints replicate the distinctive vertical joints on the sash and horizontal joints on the frame commonly found in traditional timber windows. Inspired by heritage design, they provide a more authentic appearance without the ongoing maintenance requirements associated with timber.
The launch follows a significant programme of investment, research and development, including the introduction of new tooling, specialist machinery and manufacturing processes. Supporting the development is a bespoke aluminium cleat system and skilled hand-assembly process, helping to achieve a refined finish that closely reflects traditional timber construction.
